A Romantic Spring Wedding at Terrain :: Stefanie & Eric

They say if it rains on your wedding day it’s good luck. Fortunately for Stefanie & Eric, the rain behaved itself by waiting until cocktail hour was wrapping up! Their gorgeous ceremony under the arbor at Terrain was just as romantic as they envisioned — adorned with a custom floral garland by Kate Farley.

Since Terrain's reception space has such great lighting already, we kept things simple and elegant by incorporating taper candles — which have the added benefit of creating dimension with varying height. The couple selected a sweet pairing of soft grey and peach to use throughout their wedding design. We carried the color palette throughout with custom stationery and signage, napkin selection, and a romantic peach chiffon table runner for the head table. The way the silk draped off the ends of the table brought a romantic and luxurious feeling to the space and created a nice visual tie-in to the draping on the ceremony arbor.

Svetlana did an amazing job of capturing the day’s special moments, while Terrain at Styers executed a delicious menu custom crafted by the couple — topped off with a spread of mini pies!

Words from the bride :: Heart & Dash made wedding planning easy! From their very helpful checklists to recommending fantastic vendors, Sarah & Sarah were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They both have a fantastic eye for design, know weddings inside & out and are very well-connected in the industry. I couldn't have imagined the actual day without them there — because of great prep everyone was prepared, they executed everything flawlessly beyond our expectations, led the entire setup and managed our vendors effortlessly. They left us nothing to worry about except enjoying the day & celebrating together with our families.

Thank you Stefanie & Eric for putting your trust in us to pull together your big day and guide you through the planning and design process!

Philadelphia Spring Wedding at Horticultural Center

Emily and Michael were good friends throughout college and they reconnected a couple of years after they graduated. When he proposed, she couldn’t believe it and kept asking “are you serious? Are you serious?!” Yep, he certainly was! And their wedding captured their bright personalities beautifully.

Though she couldn't wait to be married, Emily’s next thought was, "Ugh, I don’t want to plan a wedding!" So she did something I encourage every couple to do. Instead of starting out with a massive to-do list, she jotted down her thoughts on how they wanted their wedding to feel. I love that she still has that piece of paper and that when they walked into their reception, they felt exactly the way they wanted it to feel from the beginning.

Emily wanted shades of purple, so that’s just what they got — from the linens, to the amazing flowers from Love n’ Fresh, to the DIY ribbon wall behind the head table. Emily's father and brother crafted the awesome escort card display and the table numbers. Props to the guys — gotta love handy men!

The couple chose Sharyn Frenkel as their photographer because they loved the way she captured those candid moments. They wanted to remember a day of laughter, joy, and maybe even a few happy tears.

Emily & Michael — thank you for choosing us to guide you through your planning process! Looking at your wedding pictures still makes me smile because of the love you have for one another and the joy you take in being with each other!

Fall Wedding in Philadelphia's Fishtown at Front & Palmer

When your love story includes an engagement ring made out of bacon, you know it’s a good one! From my first meeting with Lauren & Jamie, I knew their wedding planning journey was going to be full of fun and lots of laughs.

Lauren popped the question to Jamie while on a trip to Jackson Hole — the bacon grease burnt his finger, he asked if she was joking, and she burst into happy tears. It looks like he said yes, and clearly, they're headed for a life of giddy happiness!

Lauren & Jamie were all about creating a day that was truly a representation of them {which you know is by far my favorite thing}! From centaur cuff links to a confetti toss recessional, and from a choreographed first dance to “It Takes Two {To Make a Thing Go Right}," to a collection of gold shoes — it's safe to say we succeeded in what we set out to do.

Lindsay from Readyluck did an amazing job of capturing the personalities of the couple as well as everyone else who was part of the day. They're masters in the art of capturing a moment.

As always, Falls Flowers nailed the floral designs. The color palette, texture, and overall “feel” of the florals were exactly what Lauren envisioned. Each centerpiece made a statement without obstructing the view across the table — something the couple specifically requested.

The couple selected Front & Palmer as their venue because it had warmth and character, yet still had the 'blank slate' quality that allowed them to make it feel like their own.

I’m still ecstatic they went with the recommendation for Birdhouse Productions as their videographer — they did such an amazing job capturing the joy and personalities of Lauren and Jamie. You have to watch their video — I mean, seriously, you've gotta to see that first dance choreography!

Lauren and Jamie — you were a joy to work with and I know you're in for a very happy life together. Congratulations and thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your special day!
