Styled Shoot :: Philadelphia Love Story

We couldn't be happier with last Friday's Supreme Court ruling that Love Wins! In the spirit of celebrating gay marriage, it's time we share this Philadelphia styled shoot where we got to work with the talented Tara Beth Photography.

Tara captured the amazing moments between models Sara & Tina throughout the day. She is truly a master at capturing chemistry, don't you think? Lovely Bride Philly provided the amazing Carol Hannah dress and beaded cape.

Marianna Coppola and Modern Relics assisted in creating the simply elegant tablescape, using Prime Stache’s great wooden tables and chairs. Flying Monkey Bakery made the absolutely delicious {and gorgeous!} dessert bar. That cake….those colors! Love!

Kate Farley worked her magic on the stunning backdrop scene on the restaurant’s existing chalk board.

This talented team came together to create something fun and inspirational for couples planning a winter wedding! Check out Tree of Life Film’s behind-the-scenes video to see how everything came together.

Fall Wedding in Philadelphia's Fishtown at Front & Palmer

When your love story includes an engagement ring made out of bacon, you know it’s a good one! From my first meeting with Lauren & Jamie, I knew their wedding planning journey was going to be full of fun and lots of laughs.

Lauren popped the question to Jamie while on a trip to Jackson Hole — the bacon grease burnt his finger, he asked if she was joking, and she burst into happy tears. It looks like he said yes, and clearly, they're headed for a life of giddy happiness!

Lauren & Jamie were all about creating a day that was truly a representation of them {which you know is by far my favorite thing}! From centaur cuff links to a confetti toss recessional, and from a choreographed first dance to “It Takes Two {To Make a Thing Go Right}," to a collection of gold shoes — it's safe to say we succeeded in what we set out to do.

Lindsay from Readyluck did an amazing job of capturing the personalities of the couple as well as everyone else who was part of the day. They're masters in the art of capturing a moment.

As always, Falls Flowers nailed the floral designs. The color palette, texture, and overall “feel” of the florals were exactly what Lauren envisioned. Each centerpiece made a statement without obstructing the view across the table — something the couple specifically requested.

The couple selected Front & Palmer as their venue because it had warmth and character, yet still had the 'blank slate' quality that allowed them to make it feel like their own.

I’m still ecstatic they went with the recommendation for Birdhouse Productions as their videographer — they did such an amazing job capturing the joy and personalities of Lauren and Jamie. You have to watch their video — I mean, seriously, you've gotta to see that first dance choreography!

Lauren and Jamie — you were a joy to work with and I know you're in for a very happy life together. Congratulations and thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your special day!
